Internship with Erin Johnson | Erin Johnson Photography
I'm not very good at writing blog posts, I usually stick to pictures, but I'm going to try this.
So, my internship with Erin Johnson is almost over. I seriously can't believe how fast it's gone by. I'm overwhelmed with everything I'm feeling - grateful for the experience, sad it's over, excited for the future, and terrified to face everything I know is coming in starting my own business. This internship has been one of the best experiences of my life. It has made me sure about what I want to do with my future, and helped me learn how I can get there.
The person who made this internship so amazing is Erin Johnson herself. She taught me so much - what steps I need to take to build my own business, how to be professional but not let photography get in the way of people who matter to me, and how to make sure that photography stays fun even when it becomes my work. Erin is one of the most blunt, funny people I know. We have so much fun hanging out, whether it's going out to eat in little restaurants with boxers hanging on the wall, window shopping for her baby on the way and clothes we can't afford, planning my wedding or actually getting some work done. :) I was so lucky to work with someone who also became my dear friend.
I can't wait until next summer, when I plan on working with Erin again as a second shooter.
If you haven't seen how crazy talented Erin is, check out her blog here:

And this is why I'm going to miss spending 24 hours a week with this woman.
