Avery | Newborn

Newborn shoots are quickly becoming one of my favorite types of shoots! Babies grow and change so quickly that I love being able to take photos of such a special time. I loved watching how much Troy and Natalie love Avery. At one point, when I asked Natalie to look at me, she said "I just want to look at her! She's so pretty!" :) Absolutely love a parent's love.

Jon + Katie | Maternity

My brother-in-law and sister have so graciously let me live with them since the Fall and I can't believe that our lives are so quickly going to change. I am moving out and baby E is ready to make her entrance into the world. It feels like just a few weeks ago that Katie, our friend Amanda, and I were in the Target bathroom staring at Katie's positive pregnancy test. I am SO ready to meet this little girl!

Nicolette | Senior

I loved being in Minnesota for a few days for my sister's graduation. Shooting Nicolette's senior photos started my weekend on such a high. Nicolette is one awesome and inspiring senior. She is planning on studying criminology in college and I feel like it takes a special person to be able to do that line of work. We are kindred spirits because we both love Criminal Minds and Law and Order: SVU - there are very few people I find who love those shows as much as I do. :)

Nicolette's family owns Mama's Pizza - everyone who lives in Minnesota should definitely go to this place. It was such a fun environment. Before I left, they gave me some mostaccioli to go and it may be the best Italian food I've ever had! We started out our shoot at Mama's.








After shooting at Mama's, we decided to head over to Como Park. It was my first time shooting here and it is such a great time of year to go there, let alone have a photoshoot there. Loved it!









Hope you have a great rest of the year, Nicolette! Thanks for being so much fun. And if you change your mind about criminology, I think you could have a future in modeling. Seriously gorgeous!
