Good soil. Good seed. Great dad.

My parents have been missionaries to the urban poor in the Philippines for 11 years now. I'm so proud of them and the sacrifices they have made to follow God's calling on their lives. Before I left the Philippines, I got to take some photos for my dad's amazing ministry. For the past few years, my dad has been getting more and more involved with sustainable agriculture. He has been learning how to grow a garden of a variety of things including vegetables and several plants that are beneficial medicinally. He has completely transformed our yard in the Philippines into a beautiful garden rich with these types of plants. He is now teaching Filipino men how to grow their own gardens, so that they can not only provide food and medicine to their own families but sell what they grow. This provides a livelihood for these families. My dad is a firm believer in meeting the physical needs of Filipinos in order to meet their spiritual needs. My dad is part of a movement that is growing Asia and feeding them physically and spiritually. I am one proud daughter. If you want to learn more about my dad's ministry, visit his ministry's blog, Good Soil. Good Seed.

Here are some of the photos we got. They include photos of my dad's garden as well as some of the men's he works with.

I love you Mom and Dad!
