Tagumpay Baptist Church

I've known Ate Rita for 10 years now, because she works at Faith Academy, my school growing up. I was so happy to be able to photograph her church on Sunday, where her husband is the pastor. They have an amazing ministry here in Manila and I was so blessed to be a part of it for a day. The Lord is really working in this church and through Kuya Erwin and Ate Rita.




The people of the church have such a strong and obvious desire to worship Jesus. It was beautiful to watch.







Several of the children in the church come from a nearby orphanage. I felt burdened by whatever pain they may have gone through or are still going through.






But they have so many great people who love them.



Please pray for the Philippines and this wonderful church.

    I love this post. You did a great job 'describing' things as you went along. You should do more like that... Do a 'trip to the mall' or 'a walk down your road' and describe it. or maybe a 'day in the life of a local Filipino'-- could be generic or a specific person. love it!
